Change is something many people are afraid of, whether it be changing your room around, or changing your daily morning routine.I however love change. If things remain the same for too long I become bored and a bit angst-y. A lot in the past year and a half or so changed me. For starters, I'm a sucker for anything preppy. The whole classic look is so darling!
Also, I'm definitely not as frivolous when it comes to school. I was a decent student the past two years, but I always knew I could push myself harder and be the absolute best. Now school is all I care about! By come August 29th I will be a junior in high school. I've never been so excited to go back!
Lastly, my slacking has cut down a lot. I'm aware that not all things come to you, and you have to work hard to see results for anything. To say I work my butt off to get the things I want, would be an understatement. Work hard and good things will come to you. I promise.
So when change comes knocking on your door, open it. What lay's on the other side may just be something you need most.
They say the color yellow represents uncertainty; thus leaving me to follow the road that leads to ambiguity.

Leopard Obsessed
My Steve
Madden Croquetl loafers just
came in the mail! I ordered them on Monday August 13th and I just got them
today. It only took two days to ship and I'm very impressed.
The shoe is made of calf fur and runs about half a size smaller.
I'm usually an eight but I bought these in an eight and a half. The price
for this fabulous shoe is $79.95. I, however, was able to get my
hands on them literally a few minutes before their 30% off sale on new arrivals
ended. I can't remember how much they were down to the last cent; but I want to
say $55.95. With shipping the total wound up to $62.97! Pretty good
for a very nice pair of loafers if you ask me!
These shoes are
currently back to its original price; but I do think that everyone should try
to invest in a pair. Whether you get leopard print flats, loafers, or oxfords;
they go great with more than you'd think.
I know that these may be
out of some people's price range, and I found a pair similar
to the Croquetl loafers from target for a lot less!
To go with the shoes, I'm eyeing this leopard
calf fur belt.
As you can see, I'm kind
of obsessed; but hey, a little leopard won't hurt anyone. At least the print,
not the actual animal.

It's Been a While...
Hey Everyone!
I know, it's been like five months since I made a post and I feel so bad! But I had so much to do, I was slipping on my top priortiy (school of course!) and I needed all of my attention focused on keeping them up. Don't worry I'm doing beter now! Lol.
Anyways, I just wanted to touch base with all of you guys. I was reading my last post (My wish list) and I noticed how much my style has changed from then. I was so in love with Hollister and Abercrombie. But recently I've been going for more trendy tops than a t-shirt and moccasins, and I'm proud of that! I'd love to start doing outfit of the day posts so you can get a sense of what I like to wear. I might have one up soon cause I'm loving my outfit today, lol.
I hope you guys are all having a great spring!

Wish List 1.8.11
Hey Everyone!
So lately I've been wanting just a couple things. I plan to save up some how (I might make a post about what I plan to do) so I can pay for them myself. As you guys already know I want the pink slouchy pants from Victoria's Secret PINK, so that won't be included in this. Anywho, lets get on with the List.

Happy New Year! Outfit of the Evening
Hey Everyone!
So as you all know, today is the very last day of 2010, making it NewYears Eve! This year I'm going to a family friends house where they host a party every New Years. Last year I thought it was lame that I was still going with my parents instead of hanging out with friends. So my parents and I made a deal, I was to alternate between going to my friends New Years Party instead of my family friends every year. So this year I'm going to be with the family, which I don't mind as much anymore.
Anyways, I wanted to tell you guys how I'll be doing my hair, make up, and outfit. So here it is:
HAIR loose and bouncy curls, like this picture of Ashley Greene.
MAKEUP Silver, slightly winged out liner.
MAC's All That Glitters eyeshadow dusted all over the lid.
MAC's Pro Long wear concealer in NW35 and MSF Natural In Medium Dark.
Falsies Mascara.
Heres how the eye would look:
OUTFIT Dark grey and white stripped fly away cardigan from Forever21.
Grey tank from Abercrombie.
Black waisted belt from a near by boutique (to put over the cardigan).
Midum washed jeans from Hollister.
Silver flats from American Eagle
Pearl earrings with matching necklace I got for Christmas.
Sorry this is up a day late! But I hope you huys had a happy new year!

Holidays are Over... GIVE ME SUMMER!
Hey Everyone!
Now that Holidays are over, there are sales on all winter clothes or pretty much anything that was for the winter seasaon. Thats makes me happy cause well, its not hurting the bank! But, it makes me sad cause I think Summer is just around the corner even though Spring didn't even start yet. I live in New England so you can't dress for spring (meaning light sweaters, strappy shoes, capris, burmudas, and some days shorts) untill late March early April. Since it rains so much for us in April, everyone covers up. It's like stores are trying to make us think Winter is over since the Holidays are, so when they come out with their Spring/Summer Collections we buy fast. Even though for the most part, its the middle of January and you can't wear most of it for another two months! It's a bummer cause by the time Spring does come, the things you bought are all on sale. So be smart and don't buy next seasons clothes now, you have so much time until you actually start needing thoes clothes.
On the other hand, even though I won't buy anything for Spring yet, I am looking at the clothes and thinking what style I should go for next season. In the Summer and Fall I'm usually dressed in just casual/boho outfits. Winter I'm all for the preppy look. For Spring, I have a different style each year, this year I'm loving the preppy outfits. For thoes who are wondering how I fit preppy into my Spring waredrobe each year, I would wear thoes nice classic shirts, like this:
tucked into some denim shorts that aren't too short, and a skiny braided belt with back flip flops to tie it all together. Because I have everything but the shirt, that would be all I'd need to add into my waredrobe. I have so many more outfits I could create for the Spring but I'll save that for later, When Spring is actually close by.
Happy 2011, hope It will be a great year for you all!
